Veteran Choreographer Siva Shankar Passes Away Due To COVID-19; Sonu Sood, Chiranjeevi, SS Rajamouli And Others Mourn His Loss
Siva Shankar, one of South India's most prominent choreographers, is no more. He was in a critical condition for the past few days after being diagnosed with COVID-19. He passed away on Sunday. He was 72. He was taken to the hospital three days ago after his health deteriorated. Many celebs including Chiranjeevi and Sonu Sood provided financial help.

His death has left the entertainment and dance fraternity in shock. Sonu Sood took to Twitter and wrote, "Heartbroken to hear about the demise of Shiv Shankar masterji. Tried our best to save him but God had different plans. Will always miss you masterji. May almighty give strength to the family to bear this loss. Cinema will always miss u sir." Choreographer-TV judge Sekhar shared a picture of Siva Shankar on his Instagram and wrote, "Very kind hearted & down to earth person. You will always remain in our hearts. RIP Master." Chiranjeevi recalled how he choreographed for his debut film Khaidi as an associate dance master and recalled his last meet on the sets of his upcoming release Acharya.

Actress Sudhaa Chandran also shared a picture with him and wrote, "Totally heartbroken... Shiv Shankar master passed away. Last month I met master for the first time.. m so fortunate to receive master's blessings. we were shooting together for our Zee Telugu serial No.1 Kodalu. Om Shanti Master.... u will be missed terribly."

SS Rajamouli tweeted, "Sad to know that renowed choreographer Shiva Shankar Master garu has passed away. Working with him for Magadheera was a memorable experience. May his soul rest in peace. Condolences to his family."
